EAST is an annual furry convention with around 1,000 participants. For five days, the Ringberg Hotel in Suhl becomes a meeting point for fans of anthropomorphic art, creativity, and community.
The convention is organized by SachsenFurs e.V. – a dedicated association that brings EAST to life with passion, volunteer work, and attention to detail. Its goal is to create a space where people can freely express themselves, connect with others, and share an unforgettable experience.
The furry community is connected worldwide: throughout Germany, Europe, and across the globe, numerous other conventions take place, each with its own character and unique atmosphere. EAST stands out with its own special flair: familiar and welcoming despite its size, creative, warm, and shaped by a unique mix of mountain scenery and community spirit.
Commitment to a Good Cause
EAST also looks beyond itself. Every year, the convention raises funds for a good cause, supporting projects focused on animal protection and welfare. Responsibility and compassion are just as much a part of EAST as fun and community.
