Your Spooky Connection to the City Hotel

Beware, as the shadows lengthen and the night grows darker, our shuttle will be there to whisk you away through the haunting silence of the Ringberg Road. Will you dare to take the ride?

Our shuttle service is meant to complement self-organized carpools. It aims to make you a bit more independent and gives you the freedom to be flexible. Unfortunately, the shuttle service can’t transport everyone from the City Hotel and isn’t always immediately available. So, continue to check your carpools and use them whenever you can.

Here are the most important details for you

Our shuttle service operates with two large taxi that has 8 seats each. If you need a ride during the day, you can contact the shuttle service through our ConOps (“Leitstelle”). You can find contact details on the notice boards on site or in the con book. We will try to be there for you as quickly as possible!

Morning: The taxi will linger at the City Hotel from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Once all the seats are filled, it will head off to the Ringberg Hotel.

Evening: From 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM, the taxi will be at the Ringberg Hotel. Once enough people are inside, it will bring you back to the City Hotel.

If the taxi is currently on the road, don’t worry – it will be back soon, or the other taxi will set off at the same time.

The shuttle will only take you if you can show your badge!

Important Tips

• Coordination: Coordinate among yourselves about who wants to leave when, to minimize waiting times.
• Patience: The taxi will depart when it is full. This means there might be waiting times. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Use the waiting time to make new friends or reconnect with old acquaintances.
• Flexibility: Self-organized carpools are still super important to ensure everyone arrives and returns on time. The shuttle service is meant to be a supplement, so use it when it fits, but don’t rely solely on it.
